The United States Embassy in Khartoum reminds all American citizens in
Sudan to register with the Embassy as soon as possible. Registration
not only allows you to receive the latest Embassy Warden Messages and
other announcements by e-mail, but also allows the Embassy to contact
you in the event of an emergency, including an evacuation. Registering
is quick, easy, and free; it takes only a few minutes, and a visit to
the Embassy is not required. Moreover, under the Privacy Act of 1974,
your personal information cannot be released to others without your
express written authorization.
To register, please go to https://travelregistration.state.gov/ibrs/ and
follow the links. You can also register over the phone by calling the
Embassy's Consular Section at 0183 774 701/2/3 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
Monday through Thursday, or you can also send an e-mail to
ConsularSudan@state.gov. Please be sure to include your full name as it
appears in your passport, your date of birth, your passport number and
expiration date, your location and physical address in Sudan, your
e-mail address, your telephone number, and your expected date of
departure from Sudan.
Please pass this announcement along to other American citizens in your
area. We can't help you if we don't know where you are.
