Muslim: The Grand Mosque in the center of Khartoum, next to the Arabian souk, is the largest Mosque in Khartoum. The second largest is the Farouk Mosque, also known as Al Atiq, at the corner of Gamhouria and Al Hurriya Avenues.
Daily prayers at all mosques are:
6:10 a.m. dawn prayers;
12:30 p.m. noon prayers;
3:30 p.m. afternoon prayers;
7:00 p.m. dusk prayers.
8:15 p.m. evening prayers.
